Unmasked

Devoted to all types of music, especially sounds of the previous generation, singer/songwriter Justin Marra continues to transform and evolve. Globally aware, and painfully honest Justin continues to offer social commentary, while also continuing to look in. Returning to his rock n' roll roots his new album Lost In Petrichor alternates styles, genres, and sounds. Taking influences from classic singer songwriters, blues breakers, and pop makers alike his Americana Sound cuts through true. Alternating between electric and acoustic performances Justin has reunited with bandmates Decoteaux and Furtado and is 1/3 of Suvivors of The Kraken.
Spending the better part of the last decade in Worcester, MA Justin has returned to the town of West Warwick where he was born and raised, and now teaches at Trinity Academy for the Performing Arts in Providence. He has come to terms with being a Rhode Islander. Able to finally devote more time to spreading his music beyond the coffee houses of Providence and Worcester he continues to write, record, and perform wherever, and whenever possible. Justin (guitars/vocals) is one third of Survivors Of The Kraken formed with Brian Decoteaux (drums) and Allan Furtado (bass).
His music is currently available at shows, on cdbaby.com, amazon, through itunes, and many other e-retailers.
